NOTICE OF CONSENT – DYKE GOLF CLUB VETERANS SECTION

Under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 the Dyke Golf Club Veterans Section (the Club) is required to establish a lawful basis for holding your personal details in an electronic register.  The lawful basis is that each member has consented.  To achieve this, we are required to set out why we hold this information and your rights.  We also need to receive your positive consent to the information being held by the Club.

The information held by the club consists of your names, phone number, email address, year of birth, and date of joining.

The information we hold about you will only be derived from the personal details that you have voluntarily provided.

You have the right, at any time, to inspect the information about you, held by the Club, to amend it, or to withdraw your consent for the Club to hold the record.

The information we hold will only be used to inform you of the Club’s events, activities, meetings, matches, management and news.    Under no circumstances will the information be shared with any other organisation or individual, unless, in the case of the latter, we have received your specific agreement to pass the information on (for instance to a descendant researching family history). The information will not be processed by any agency, organisation or individual outside the Club.

The enclosed Privacy Notice explains who is responsible for the information.   The records will be maintained by the General Secretary and held in password protected online storage.  They will be accessible by; the Treasurer, Competitions Secretary, and Match Secretary The information will be held in spreadsheet form and with a secure password.   All computers accessing the information will have current protection against viruses, malware and spyware and will operate behind an effective firewall.

I have read this notice and the associated Privacy Notice and consent to the Veterans Section of the Dyke Golf  Club holding the stated personal data for the purposes set out above.
